Born: 22nd November 1976.

Ville was in other bands before HIM. His first band was called Blood, without a singer, they still played Iron Maiden's 'Run To The Hills' in front of the music class which they did once or twice then that was the end of that band. He played bass in most bands, he was in at university. They played Dixieland jazz and reggae.

Special Interests: Mige's photography, 1980's, The Origin of the Blues, Eastern European Folklore, Enochian, Malleus maleficarum.

Dislikes: The misuse of mind altering substances, The Beatles and Red meat.

Gas (Gas Lipstick/Kaasu)
Drums
Born: 8th February 1971

Before being in the band HIM. Gas was a builder, who built houses. He also was in another band called Kyyria. They recorded three albums and were signed to Gun Records in Germany, they were abit like Faith No More.

Special interests: Movies, The Pens, Motorbikes and Cigars

Dislikes: Bad food, Bad people and early wake-up calls

Burton (Janne Puurtinen)
Keyboards
Born: 17th October 1974

Burton studied music at university. Before being in HIM he was a chef. Previous bands he was in Sub Urban Tribe, a rock band and a Torpedo, which burtonplayed the basslines on the keyboard.

Dislikes: McDonalds

Mige (Mikko Paananem)
Bass
Born: 19th December 1974

Mige was a gardener and at the age of 18 he went into the army, then he became a member of the band HIM. Was in a few school bands, but nothing much.

Special interest: Catholic churches, architecture, Charles Chaplin, exotic instruments, meditation, Vedrana, pyramids, photography

Dislikes: Cruelty, hatred, aggression, ghosts & other night fears, wicked spirits, envy, modern shopping malls

Linde (Mikko Lindstrom)
Guitar
Born: 12th August 1976

Didnt really do much before going into the band, but used to work with his father doing computer stuff, but wasn't his thing. Only other bands he has been in were school ones.

Special interest: Selibacy, meditation
